Brandi/Frenzy

This was a concert that we went to back in September '07 at the 9:30 Club. A Fine Frenzy opened. Alison came out. Play the piano. Sipped some tea. And sang beautifully. Then Brandi came on and rocked the house. She played one song completely unplugged. No mike. Just her, her two guitarist and the drummer on the maracas. So awesome. We saw Alison from A Fine Frenzy swaying to Brandi's tunes up in the balcony. It's very cool to see musicians touring together actually appreciate each others music. It was a special show. Would see the two of them again in a heartbeat.

Meeting Missy Higgins

I told her that she was the bright spot (besides Deej) in a crummy day. DJ invited her to our BBQ. She kindly declined, mentioning something about having to go somewhere and play music.
